Bespoke employment, support and training (BEST)
BEST runs from our Deane UCAN Centre to offer personalised support for people taking their first steps into employment.
Customers are referred to BEST by staff from our neighbourhood or housing teams, or from agencies such as Jobcentre Plus.
We identify the best route into work for someone and provide one-to-one support. Sometimes this involves tailored pre-recruitment courses where college professionals and potential employers explain what recruiting firms are looking for in people and what they require in terms of work related training.
