We’ve been named 2025’s Health Creating Housing Provider of the Year

We’re here to help you thrive in your community - and we’re proud to say that our colleagues have been recognised for their work supporting people to build better lives.

Last week, we were named 'Health Creating Housing Provider of the Year' at the 2025 Excellence in Health Creation Awards: a recognition of the work our teams do every day to support people’s health and wellbeing across our neighbourhoods.

Because this award celebrates the positive impact of our colleagues, partners, and volunteers, we wanted to use the moment to remind you that we’re here for you - or someone you care about - through:

  • Our UCAN centres: over 4,000 people visited us last year for help with money advice, health and wellbeing, employment/training support, and more - leading to hundreds of thousands in financial gains and 205 people finding work. Find your centre at: www.boltonathome.org.uk/ucan.

  • Our Peer Navigator programme: we’ve employed over 40 tenants and residents as community connectors and champions for their neighbourhoods. Meet them at: www.boltonathome.org.uk/peer-navigators.

  • Customer involvement channels: from our Resident Voices Channel to Scrutiny Panels and our Group Operations Committee, there are many ways to get involved: www.boltonathome.org.uk/be-involved.

  • Support for local groups and volunteers: in the last year, we’ve worked with 166 local groups and 1,239 volunteers - helping them access grants, training, development, and £310,000 in funding for our communities.

We’re also proud that our Bolton Manbassadors men’s mental health project was highly commended in the 'Health Creating Community Connector of the Year' category - and that our Men’s Camp Jam sessions (delivered through Bolton Manbassadors in the Community) were runner-up in the 'Health Creating Community Space or Place of the Year' category. Nice one.
