Upcoming webinar: fire safety in your home – what to know and expect

Everyone deserves to feel safe at home. A new online session from Four Million Homes will help you understand your rights and responsibilities when it comes to fire safety – and what to expect from your housing provider.

There are two sessions on Thursday 30 October 2025.

  • Date: Thursday 30 October 2025
  • Time: two sessions available: 2:30pm to 4:00pm and 7:30pm to 9:00pm
  • Location: online – open to all social housing residents and free.

This session will give you clear, practical information to help you stay safe at home – and understand what your landlord is responsible for when it comes to fire safety.

What the session will cover

  • Common fire risks in social housing – and how to reduce them.
  • What landlords are responsible for.
  • What to expect from fire risk assessments.
  • What to do if you’re worried about fire safety in your building.
  • Where to go for support.

There’ll be time for questions and discussion. Closed captions will be available for accessibility.
