Live in a flat? You'll receive one/both of these fire/building safety leaflets
If you’re a Bolton at Home tenant living in a flat- you’ll receive one (or both, if applicable) of these leaflets from this week (w/c Monday 23 January 2023):
One contains handy information on what fire doors are, why they're important, how/when we’ll inspect them, and how you can regularly check the ones in your home/building will do their job in the event of a fire. We’re sending these to all tenants living in flats and they’re expected to land from next week (w/c Monday 23 January 2023).
The other leaflet covers general building safety updates for our high-rise blocks of flats (following recent changes to Government building/fire safety laws and legislation) and is being sent to all tenants living in high-rise buildings (18 metres/seven stories and above). You can expect these to land from next week, too.
If you’d like to read them now, these two leaflets are available to download from our website: www.boltonathome.org.uk/building-safety. You’ll also find further advice/guidance on keeping you and your home safe on that page, too.
