Mr One Million
We supported 10 young men to create and sell art as part of our Mr One Million initiative to boost skills and experience among those unemployed on our estates.
Mr One Million has run for five years and covered film making and drama in previous years. This time, it was about art and enterprise.
The men gained skills in art and design, metal and wood work, and paper making, and experience of working on a market stall and selling their work to the public. The group sold almost £100 of original work at Manchester’s Spinningfields Makers Market.
Our staff are supporting the Mr One Million members to source funding to extend the project.
