Teamwork leads to a cleaner, greener Emmanuel Estate in Deane, Bolton

On Saturday 25 October, Emmanuel Estate in Deane, Bolton saw an inspiring show of community spirit as residents, partners, and our colleagues came together for a Community and Environmental Action Day.

The event included:

  • Litter picking by residents of all ages
  • Six skips provided for waste removal (two donated by Evergreen Skips)
  • Children’s activities and refreshments organised by our Customer Engagement Team
  • Support from Greater Manchester Police, Bolton Council, Glendale, Elite Tuition, and Bolton Borough Litter Pickers

This day wasn’t just about tidying up - it was about building stronger bonds, supporting one another, and showing what happens when a community cares.
