Low cost, quality furniture and more for you and your home
We work with Emmaus, a charity that supports people who are homeless or trapped by poverty by giving them a home and work opportunities.
The companions, who live and work at Emmaus, check, clean and test all items before they go on sale in their shop, and for a fraction of the price they’d cost as new.
This stops quality goods going into landfill and being wasted. It also allows Emmaus to offer low cost furniture packages to our customers – Bolton at Home tenants get 15% off all furniture.
The Emmaus store sells a wide range of goods, including:
- electrical goods, e.g. fridges and washing machines
- beds and bedroom furniture
- tables and chairs
- sofas and suites
- children’s clothes, toys and furniture
- adults’ clothes
- adults’ and children’s bikes.
There’s also a café open daily, serving hot and cold drinks, freshly prepared soups and sandwiches and homemade cakes.
We encourage you to visit the friendly team at Emmaus and you may be surprised what you’ll find there.
They open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm, and are based at Derby Barracks, Fletcher Street Bolton BL3 6NF.
