Inviting contractors to join latest framework

Inviting contractors to join latest framework

We're inviting tenders from contractors to support us in maintaining the 18,000 plus homes we manage across the region.

Click here to go to the Building Works Contractor Framework. Companies winning a place on the framework will support our in-house repairs team on a wide range of works, including external structures, internal work and associated infrastructure and environmental work.

This will be divided into lots for general building works, day-to-day repairs, structural and disrepair works and roofing. There is also a small trader lot for businesses with an annual turnover less than £400k.

The number of contractors required on each lot can be between two and ten, and contractors are able to bid for multiple lots. Successful applicants will be awarded based on the most economically advantageous tender.

Fiona Summerscales is our Senior Procurement Manager. Fiona said: This is a fantastic opportunity for new contractors who want to help create homes and neighbourhoods we can all be proud of.

“As part of the bidding process, we want operators to tell us how they will ensure work is managed effectively, and how health and safety risks are mitigated. We are also extremely passionate about customer care and social value outcomes; bidders will be required to tell us how they will contribute to the local communities that we work in.”

We want to engage with businesses that have experience in delivering similar works, can pay at least the Real Living Wage, contribute to local social value outputs, and support net zero targets by reducing the impact on the environment.

The four-year contract will start in October 2023 and the deadline for submissions is Monday 10 July at 12 noon.
