Heard about these free courses and workshops at our Bolton UCAN Centre? (May and June 2025)
Just in case you or someone you care about could benefit, here’s a look at three upcoming activities at our Bolton UCAN Centre (located in The Market Place Shopping Centre, Bolton).
They’re all free to attend:
Mending and Clothes Care Workshop: Thursday 22 May 2025 from 10am to 1pm
Learn how to do basic clothing repairs in this informal, fun workshop intended to help us all make our clothes (and the money we spend on them) go further. Delivered in partnership with Bolton College.

Creative CV Workshop: every first Thursday of the month (next session on Thursday 5 June 2025) from 10am to 12.30pm
Get help to write a CV, find your career (including training and apprenticeships), search for jobs, and boost your interview skills.
Just turn up – no need to book in advance.
Nail Art Taster Course: Thursday 12 June 2025 from 9.45am to 12.30pm
Learn about nail art theory and safety, see demonstrations of how to use tools to apply designs, and give it a go with your own designs. Delivered in partnership with Bolton College.
