Four Million Homes – what’s next

Four Million Homes is hosting a special online session this week to look back at what the programme has achieved over the past three years, and what comes next as social housing continues to change.

The programme has helped tenants across the country understand their rights, build confidence, and get involved in shaping the services they receive. With government funding for Four Million Homes coming to an end in March 2026, this session will also look ahead at how support will continue.

The session will explore:

  • What the programme has delivered so far, including what tenants have said about it.
  • How tenant involvement and expectations are shifting across social housing.
  • Wider changes in regulation and policy.
  • What will continue after March 2026, including how the website, guidance and resources will keep supporting tenants.
  • How to stay informed and involved in future activities.
