Could you be our next Board Chair? (January 2026 vacancy)
Could you - or someone you know - play an important role in delivering the best outcomes for our customers and communities?
- Salary: £15,115 per annum
- Anticipated time commitment: circa three days a month
As Chair, you’ll work closely with our Board and Leadership Team to shape strategy, champion strong governance, and ensure financial integrity remains at our core. You’ll guide the Board through complex decisions, foster collaboration, and represent us externally with confidence and credibility.
We’re looking for a dynamic Chair who is financially literate, experienced in customer-focused and regulated sectors, and able to inspire and influence. Whether stepping into your first role as Chair or building on previous experience, you’ll bring strategic insight, commercial awareness, and a deep commitment to our values and purpose.
We own, manage, and maintain around 19,000 homes across the region – but we go beyond bricks and mortar to deliver better outcomes and lasting social value. You’ll join us during a critical period of transformation, including our rebrand to Be One Homes in April this year. This new identity reflects our shared values and commitment to accountability, inclusivity, and togetherness, while ushering in service and process improvements that will allow colleagues to work more efficiently and deliver a better experience for customers.
