An ‘eyesore’ will be transformed
Bolton Council has approved plans to transform a derelict meadow behind Mossfield Road, Ash Road and Queensway into a community-friendly green space, which will include fruit trees, picnic spaces, play area and sculptures.
We supported residents to form the Mossfield Meadow Action Group, which led the project to turn the land into a safe place for the community to use.
Our Community Development Officer, Chris Wood, said: “It’s been really community led and the community will now be able to help shape it.”
