Encouraging colleagues to learn something new
We're keen to encourage our employees to develop their skills and knowledge by learning something new. So every year we sponsor employees who want to study for a job-related qualification which will benefit our organisation and our customers.
The sponsorship request may be for time out of work to study, payment of fees or support in the workplace to complete assignments. In all cases, we publish clear criteria for the programme so that those applying are treated fairly and consistently in the allocation of the training budget.
Many of our staff have benefitted from sponsored study and have gone on to achieve qualifications in a wide range of subjects including:
- Accountancy
- Human resources
- Heath and safety
- Surveying
