We want to give our customers opportunities to build their skills and confidence so they are able to take advantage of volunteering, training and work opportunities.

We’ve done a lot of work to help us understand customers’ needs. 

We work closely with partners such as Bolton Council, Next Step and Jobcentre Plus to understand what support is available for customers looking for work.

With this improved understanding we’re now developing a range of projects that respond to the specific needs of our customers and will help them access the opportunities available.

We have set up work clubs in our UCAN centres, aimed at providing basic help, advice and support to jobseekers.
