Plum: our customer recognition and rewards initiative

Plum is Bolton at Home’s recognition and rewards initiative for customers

When you sign up for your tenancy you automatically become a member.  This means you receive a Plum welcome pack, four issues each year of our customer newsletter, Door to Door, as well as occasional gifts.

If you keep a clear rent account for eight weeks or more and have no ongoing antisocial behaviour or issues with your garden, then you can upgrade to a higher level of membership: Plum Plus.

This lets you take part in prize draws and competitions, have access to Plum education and training grants, as well as more regular gifts.  Plum also sponsors and organises regular community events.

Membership is free and to date we have over 15,000 members.

To be automatically upgraded from Plum to Plum Plus membership you must:

  • Have a clear rent account or be maintaining an agreement to pay off outstanding debt
  • Abide by your tenancy agreement, with particular reference to antisocial behaviour and garden maintenance

Plum education and training grants

Plum, Bolton at Home’s recognition and reward initiative, offers education and training grants to its customers.

If you are attending or are applying to enrol on a further education course then Plum can help with costs such as registration, tuition and exams fees; equipment and books; uniform; travel; childcare.

Plum offers grants up to a value of £400 to Plum Plus members or children aged 16-18 of Plum Plus members to assist our customers in obtaining further education, training and qualifications.
