Protecting you and your home

Making sure you and your home are safer

According to RoSPA (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), almost 4,000 people die in accidents in the home and a further 2.7 million arrive at hospitals for treatment.

Although we all usually take care when we go out, especially to places that are unfamiliar, we’re surprisingly neglectful when it comes to taking care of ourselves and our families within our own homes.  There are many causes of household incidents.  Most can be avoided with a little forethought and common sense.

Similarly, we could all do more to protect our property and our possessions, both in the house and in the garden.  By taking a few simple precautions, we can reduce the risk of being burgled and make our homes more secure.

This section of the website offers some suggestions and ideas to help you.  If you have your own tips, please pass them on to us and we’ll publish the good ones!
