Our repair standards

 

We work to agreed standards

When our technicians and staff visit your home they follow a strict code of practice. 

They will:

  • Always show and identification card
  • Wear Bolton at Home uniforms (if they are actually carrying our the repair work)
  • Ask your permission to come in
  • Be polite, friendly but not familiar
  • Explain what work they are to carry out
  • Treat your property with respect
  • Protect furnishings with dust sheet prior to starting work
  • Carry our the work in a safe manner
  • Maintain the working area as tidy as possible
  • Place debris and unused materials in a safe position ready for collection
  • Whenever possible leave furnishings as they found them

They will not:

  • Enter your home without your permission
  • Use your phone, electricity, water or toilet without asking
  • Use bad language
  • Smoke in your home
  • Leave tools or materials unsecure
  • Make promises they can’t keep
