When our technicians and staff visit your home they follow a strict code of practice.
They will:
- Always show and identification card
- Wear Bolton at Home uniforms (if they are actually carrying our the repair work)
- Ask your permission to come in
- Be polite, friendly but not familiar
- Explain what work they are to carry out
- Treat your property with respect
- Protect furnishings with dust sheet prior to starting work
- Carry our the work in a safe manner
- Maintain the working area as tidy as possible
- Place debris and unused materials in a safe position ready for collection
- Whenever possible leave furnishings as they found them
They will not:
- Enter your home without your permission
- Use your phone, electricity, water or toilet without asking
- Use bad language
- Smoke in your home
- Leave tools or materials unsecure
- Make promises they can’t keep
