When you start your tenancy, you agree to decorate the inside of your home and keep it clean.
Sometimes, at the start of the tenancy, we issue a decorating allowance (we may also do this following a major repair or works to your home). The amount of the allowance is based on the number of rooms in the property.
This decoration allowance is issued in the form of vouchers. We’ll also let you know what materials this voucher can be used to buy and give you a list of participating suppliers. The voucher must be used within 6 months of issue. For more information, go to our Looking after your home page.
Remember that you can’t apply Artex, vitreous tiling or similar materials to the walls or ceilings without our written permission. If you want to put down laminate flooring, you also need to get our written permission.
