We can provide help and guidance on disabled facilities, grants and adaptations.
By providing equipment and making modifications to your property, we aim to enable you, whether you’re elderly or have a disability, to continue to live independently in your own home.
We can help customers living in either public or private housing (grants are available towards the cost of providing specific major adaptations for private sector customers).
When you contact us we’ll send out an information pack within 10 working days. You’ll then need to complete an enquiry form (included in the pack). When we receive that we tell you within 5 working days what priority we’ve assigned your request.
How quickly we visit you to assess your needs will depend on whether we give you a priority of emergency, urgent or standard.
- Emergency priorities will get an assessment visit within 5 working days.
- Urgent priorities will get an assessment visit within 10 working days.
- All standard priorities will be visited within 6 months.
