Please help a local community project get funding
Thanks if you’ve already taken part in this. If not, and before the deadline closes this Friday (18 November), please take a few minutes to vote for local projects in the running for community funding from Aviva.
After registering, you'll get 10 votes to give to one project or spread across multiple projects.
Go to https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/ and search for projects nearest to Bolton. You'll see they include our very own outreach food growing at Willow Hey in Farnworth, click here. We're appealing for funding to set-up community growing at family homes to tackle food poverty and bring people together.
You can also vote for several of our partners. They include Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme, Bolton Hospice, Bolton Lads and Girls, Club, Bolton Wanderers Community Trust and Breightmet Wanderers. You can read a write-up for each one online, explaining what difference the funding would make.
There are almost 4,000 projects overall. The ones with most votes will go to a final stage, where a judging panel award the funds. So, more reason to register, vote and tell a friend.
