More ways to get online

We’re rolling out new ways to help people get online in north Bolton, with a brand new internet café and computer workshops.

Get online after school

There’s a brand-new milk bar and internet café at the Fusion Centre on Connaught Square, open twice a week for 8-12 year olds.

‘The Cow Shed’ is funded by a number of partners and supported by a qualified volunteer youth worker.

Kids can come along, have fun with friends and use the computers – all with added milkshakes!

The café is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3.30pm to 6pm.

For more information, phone the Fusion Centre on 01204 380814.

Affordable computers

We’re also running computer workshops at our Tonge Moor UCAN Centre on Tonge Moor Road in partnership with local mental health charity, Bolton Steps.

Volunteers are fixing and recycling donated computers, which you can buy for around £40. The project also gives volunteers the chance to learn new skills and gain confidence.

For more information, phone our Tonge Moor UCAN Centre Team on 01204 329563.
