Currently working as a Regional Manager for a Housing Association, Violet
has experience of working in community development in areas of priority
treatment in Glasgow, with over 10 years experience in housing and
regeneration.
By serving on Bolton at Home’s Board, Violet would like to achieve better
quality housing and housing services delivered by BH and successful, vibrant
neighbourhoods in Bolton.
On a personal note, Violet does voluntary work for Salford Money Line, a
community bank. Her favourite foods are vegetarian pizza or pasta, and her
two favourite places are Lake Garda in Italy, for the wonderful food,
people, buildings and scenery, and Fort Lauderdale in Florida, for the sun,
beaches and shopping.
Wild Swans by Jung Chang, a true story about three generations of a
Chinese family, is the book which she says touches every emotion.
