Bob retired 6 years ago as a Managing Director of an electrical contracting
business. When not carrying out his Bolton Councillor duties, Bob spends his
spare time doing DIY and keeping fit.
He has significant business and people management experience and is
considered to be a team player by his peers, with interpersonal, business
management and strategic planning skills.
When asked what he would like to achieve through his time on the Board, Bob
responded he would like to be part of a winning team that launches a new
community based Bolton at Home.
Bob lists his favourite food as English and his favourite book as McCarthy’s
Bar by Pete McCarthy. His favourite holiday destination is Florida.
