Carole Crawley

Carole has experience of working with disadvantaged groups and liaising with official bodies. She has lived in both public and private housing and at the moment lives within a regeneration area.

Skills Carole brings to the Sub Group are good communication, empathy, dependability and experience of working in finance and accounts.

Whilst on the Sub Group Carole would like to work towards improvements in both public and private housing to enhance the lives of the people of Bolton who live in deprived areas to bring an equal quality of life to all.

In her spare time Carole loves wildlife, especially wild birds, an abundance of which she feeds in her garden. Carole is also a member of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), Martin Mere Trust and other wildlife groups.

On a voluntary basis Carole is Treasurer of her local residents group and the local Park Group.

Carole’s favourite food is fish, humous and fruit and lists her two favourite books as An Equal Music by Vikram Seth and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee; her favourite holiday destination is Lake Garda in Italy.
