Football fever hit young people of
Horwich over the October half-term.
Hundreds of local kids, aged eight to 15, took the opportunity to improve
their soccer skills thanks to free football sessions and team games.
The sessions were held at Horwich Leisure Centre every afternoon during the
October half-term week.
Noel Spencer, Chair of Bolton at Home, said: “We are delighted to support
healthy and fun activities for young people which can play a part in
strengthening local communities.”
Made possible by funding from Bolton at Home’s Horwich neighbourhood panel;
Bolton Council’s Sports, Health and Inclusion Team and Bolton Wanderers
Football in the Community delivered the popular activity.
