Winners of Bolton at Home’s 2006
Apprentice Awards recently celebrated their success at a ceremony held at
Bolton Town Hall.
The event recognised 17 apprentices who have successfully completed their
apprenticeships, together with the most outstanding performers from each
year.
Noel Spencer, Chair of Bolton at Home, and guest speaker Paul Fletcher
presented the awards and prizes to apprentices who have shown commendable
customer care, quality of work and willingness to learn.
Noel Spencer, Chair of Bolton at Home, said: “We take considerable pride in
acknowledging and recognising our apprentices. They apply themselves with
great commitment and make a real contribution to housing and environmental
improvements across the borough.”
Matthew Taylor was named overall apprentice of the year and said: “My
apprenticeship has helped me gain new skills and it has boosted my
confidence. I am delighted to have won this award and my family are very
proud of me.”
