
When Bolton at Home carries out major building works to your home we try to
arrange them so you can remain in your home whilst the works are being carried
out. However there are occasions when it is necessary to carry our major works
such as structural repairs to your home.
In the unlikely event that you will be required to move from your home Bolton
at Home will offer you temporary accommodation and pay the cost of any
reasonable expenses such as cost of removal. Whilst living in temporary
accommodation rent will continue to be paid in your principle home.
A liaison officer will visit your home prior to the commencement of major
repairs to your home to explain the process in more detail and support you
during the period of the repair work. The duration of your stay in temporary
accommodation will depend in the extent of the work to be carried out to your
home.
