Race Equality Scheme

What is the Race Equality Scheme?

The Race Equality Scheme is a statement of how Bolton at Home plans to meet the general and specific duties as specified in the Race Relations Act ’76 as amended by the Race Relations Amendment Act 2000; in order to promote racial equality within the organisation.

The Scheme will be adopted as part of the organisation’s strategies, policies and procedures and will be reviewed every three years. Bolton at Home’s Equality and Diversity Sub Group and the Equality and Diversity Steering Group (in formation stage) will ensure the Scheme is monitored regularly.
