The Race Equality Scheme is a statement of how Bolton at Home plans to
meet the general and specific duties as specified in the Race Relations Act
’76 as amended by the Race Relations Amendment Act 2000; in order to promote
racial equality within the organisation.
The Scheme will be adopted as part of the organisation’s strategies,
policies and procedures and will be reviewed every three years. Bolton at
Home’s Equality and Diversity Sub Group and the Equality and Diversity
Steering Group (in formation stage) will ensure the Scheme is monitored
regularly.
Until 10th October 2006, we will be consulting stakeholders, customers, partners, and members of the community to find out their views about the Race Equality Scheme. Every comment will be taken into consideration in preparing the final draft.
Your comments on the Race Equality Scheme can be sent by email to Kemi Abidogun, Equality & Diversity Officer, or by telephone on 01204 335744.
