Open plan areas and grassed verges
Under no circumstances must you park any caravan, motor-home, boat or trailer within the boundary of your home and you are not allowed to park them on communal parking areas. You can usually park a car within your boundary as long as you have a properly built drive, access crossing, dropped kerb and garage or hard-standing. (You may have to pay extra rent for this. You must not park or drive on open areas, footpaths or grass verges. You must not keep mopeds or bikes or any motor equipment inside your premises or in internal shared areas.

In some areas, we let garages or garage sites where you can put up your own garage. Ask us what there is in your area and how to apply by contacting your local Neighbourhood housing or estate office. You can only use garages for storing a private motor vehicle, not for storing or using inflammable substances or for anything else (see link below for further information on Garages).
