Bolton Mediation works with a range of disputes.
The service is confidential, impartial, independent and in most cases free
on delivery.
It is a way of resolving conflict in which an independent third party
helps people in dispute to reach an acceptable solution.
It is confidential and mediators do not take sides.
It can only be entered into voluntarily. No one can make you come to
mediation if you don’t want to. No one tells you what to do and you don’t
have to do anything that you don’t want to do.
Mediators do not try to find out who is right or wrong. They do not make
suggestions or give advice. They’ll just help the people involved to find
the answer that is best for them. They help people to look to the future and
think about how their situation could be improved.
After you have spoken to Bolton Mediation on the telephone they will
write to you with an appointment for two of their mediators to visit you.
You can tell them about what is happening then.
When you want them to they will visit the person or people you are
experiencing difficulties with.
When everyone involved is ready a mediation meeting will be held at a
neutral venue.
